ABOUT US

We are a small but growing church in transition that is excited to see all that God has for our growing congregation. After 31 years in downtown Victorville we are stepping out by faith to the community of Hesperia. We are in the process of purchasing a building to make our new home. We would love for you to come by and visit us. Come hear the message of grace that is taught at each service and learn about the unchanging love that Jesus has for you.

OUR HISTORY

NBCC was founded in 1984 by the Rev. J.R. Freeman, who had been a missionary to Central America for over 50 years. He began a bible study in his home with two brothers Edward and David Angel. This bible study group would eventually grow too big for the home and New Beginning Christian Fellowship was born. In 1986 he retired from ministry and Edward Angel took his place as senior pastor. New Beginnings was located in the heart of old town Victorville for over 31 years and as a beacon of hope for the down and out in this small community. During that time we held a weekly service in which groceries were given to those who were homeless and families that were struggling to make ends meet. We have seen thousands of lives touched and needs met by this ministry.

SENIOR PASTOR

Senior Pastor Mark Angel has served in the ministry for over 20 years. After starting out as director of NBCC's children ministry, he transition over to Youth Leader in 2003 where he led the youth ministry for 10 years. Mark became a licensed minister in 2005 and was ordained as Pastor in 2008.  Mark is married to his wife Stefanie, and has two boys that are involved with him in the music ministry.
